Vijayadashami is kept when Dashami reaches the afternoon (aparahna). In Singapore Dashami begins in the middle of that window, and some calendars give Wednesday, 21 October instead. Dates and times are for each city's own clock, worked out for the city centre. A suburb can differ by a few minutes; your local temple's calendar is the final word.
