We checked every line of this aarti against these sources before publishing it (checked on 16 Sept 2026). The meanings are written by us.

Which version we use

We compared the Shirdi Sansthan's printed page with five Marathi copies (Webdunia Marathi, Marathimati, Kavita Kosh, Sai Dham Family and the garbled FreeBhajans copy, which we did not count), treating copies that repeat another site's text with its slips as one (Devbappa repeats Webdunia, HinduNidhi repeats Marathimati, Bharatkosh repeats Kavita Kosh). The copies differ mainly in nasal marks and vowel length, not in the words sung. For each half-line we give the whole reading printed by the most copies, and the Sansthan's reading where they split evenly. In five half-lines the majority differs from the Sansthan page: 'चरणरजातली' (Webdunia, Sai Dham; Sansthan 'चरणरजातलीं', Marathimati 'चरणरजतळी', Kavita Kosh 'चरणरजतळीं'); 'द्यावा दासा विसावा' (Webdunia, Marathimati; Sansthan 'द्यावा दासां विसांवा'); 'स्वस्वरूपी राहे दंग' (Webdunia, Marathimati; Sansthan and Sai Dham 'स्वस्वरूपीं' / 'स्वस्वरुपीं', Kavita Kosh 'स्वस्वरुपी'); 'हरे संसृतिव्यथा' (Marathimati, Kavita Kosh, Sai Dham; Sansthan 'संसृती व्यथा', Webdunia 'संस्कृती व्यथा', a slip); 'आठा दिवसा गुरुवारी' (Webdunia, Marathimati; Sansthan 'आठां दिवसां गुरूवारीं', Sai Dham 'आठां दिवसां गुरुवारीं', Kavita Kosh 'आठा दिवसां गुरुवारी'). On even splits we keep the Sansthan's 'भक्तां विसावा' (with Kavita Kosh; Webdunia 'भक्ता'), 'तुमचे नाम ध्याता' (with Webdunia; Kavita Kosh and Sai Dham 'तुमचें नाम ध्यातां'), 'मागणें हेंचि आतां' and 'तुम्हां देवाधिदेवा' (with Sai Dham; Webdunia and Marathimati 'मागणे हेचि आता', 'तुम्हा'). Other differences: Webdunia 'सगुण परब्रह्मः साचार' and the Austin book 'saguna parabrahm' where the Sansthan, Marathimati and Kavita Kosh have 'सगुणब्रह्म'; Webdunia 'इच्छित दिन चातक' where the others have 'दीन'; Marathimati and Kavita Kosh 'सौख्यदातारा' where the Sansthan, Webdunia and Sai Dham print 'सौख्यदातार'; Kavita Kosh runs the refrain as 'चरणरजतळीं निज दासां विसावां'; Sai Dham ends 'सांभाळ निज आपुली भाक'. We leave out the singing markers '॥ आ० ॥' (repeat the refrain) and, in verse 4, '॥ द० ॥' (repeat 'दत्त दिगंबर'). The saibaba.org copy of the noon aarti leaves out verse 1. In English letters 'सौख्यदातार' is written 'Saukhyadatar'; it is often sung and searched as 'Saukhya Datara'.
